Intrepid Outdoors Joins America Adventure Rally
The NBC Sports Hunting Show’s Team Intrepid gears up for over 1,800 miles of beautiful American scenery, adventure and competitive driving.
(Devils Tower, WY) — It’s not often that you see a sports car with camouflage graphics, but next month, that’s exactly what you’ll see traveling along the Pacific coast. Intrepid Outdoors, the award-winning hunting and outdoor adventure program on the NBC Sports network, will sponsor Team Intrepid and their modified Dodge Viper in the AutoWeek America Adventure Rally.
“We’re proud to be part of this exciting event,” explains TV Host and Show Producer Mike Schmid. “The media coverage and audience that it attracts allows us to bring additional awareness to the show and provides a unique and exciting way to connect with our fans.”
Avid racer Jhan Dolphin, who directs advertising and sponsorship relationships for the show, will drive the Intrepid car. The entire rally will be filmed for an upcoming 1-hour television special, and Team Intrepid will post video footage each day during the adventure for their friends, fans and sponsors to stay connected.
The AutoWeek America Adventure will start on October 26 in Tacoma, Washington, at the brand new and world’s largest LeMay Automotive Museum. The 1,800-mile scenic drive continues down the Pacific coast, with stops along the way to compete at various race tracks, until the teams arrive in Las Vegas during SEMA, the largest automotive industry gathering in the nation. Proceeds from the rally will go to the Graham Rahal Foundation, raising money and awareness for causes concerning children with medical conditions.
