Hello my name is Frank Amos,
I currently live on and manage cattle operations on the Solitude Ranch. In addition to working at The S.R.O I also have the privilege of being field staff and part of Intrepid Outdoors, and guide for archery and rifle seasons.
I moved into the Black Hills from LaBarge Wyoming in 2005 with my wife and two kids, to help with the live stock and hunting operations. Making this move enabled me to pursue my love of archery hunting and agriculture.
I had hunted elk and deer with a rifle since i was old enough to hold a tag, but really found a new passion in hunting in 2004 archery hunting with my uncle Mike Schmid on his ranch in the black hills. That first year i harvested two does and saw many nice bucks and was hooked. My archery career has been short but full of excitement being lucky enough to harvest numerous does two white tail bucks and a calf elk.
Agriculture and hunting are two things that my family and I can do together which will form lasting memories and experiences we wont soon forget. |
