An independent America is a free America. The threats from anti-hunting, anti-gun and anti-development groups could severely limit the multiple-use of our public lands. Hunting, motorized recreation, hiking, mining, logging, farming, ranching and other uses are under attack by a very loud minority who would like to lock us out of America's public lands. The "America—Free & Independent" segment of Intrepid Outdoors provides us with an opportunity to educate and inform. The citizens of the United States have the right to use and enjoy these beautiful lands and valuable resources.

Our goal is to make people aware that our rights and access to public lands reach far beyond hunting, hiking and other recreational uses. These lands, and the vast resources within them, also have the potential to reduce our dependence on foreign energy. They need to remain available!
