We are proud to be the first show that guarantees a kid in the outdoors on every episode with our “Get a Child in the Wild” segment. We truly understand the importance of our young outdoorsman, and how crucial it is to keep our numbers strong to continue the sport of hunting and fishing. We’re not looking for an award for this; we just want others to actually do what they talk about.

My name is Mike Schmid, Executive Producer and Co-Host of Intrepid Outdoors, an outdoor and hunting television show that is aired on the Pursuit Channel on Direct TV. I am the Managing Member for a natural gas and oil well servicing company in southwest Wyoming. Growing up in the Green River Basin and having worked in the oilfield my entire adult life, 

I have witnessed firsthand the benefits that responsible development brings not only to local communities, but to the natural habitat and the animals themselves.
